In “Cold Grey Light of Dawn,”Marnie (Fiona Shaw) is gone. Her body has been taken over by the 400-year-old witch Antonia, who, as flashbacks revealed, died a gruesome death during the Spanish Inquisition and has good cause to want payback. With her powers, she can compel vampires to walk into the sunlight – to their own fiery doom.
Bill (Stephen Moyer) quickly realizes she could massacre them all. His plan to save his subjects is almost as deadly as the sun itself.
Meanwhile, Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) take their lovemaking to just about every part of Bon Temps it seems, much to the distress of Alcide (Joe Manganiello). Eric decides he doesn’t want his memory back if the price is losing Sookie’s love.
Tara’s (Rutina Wesley) life is saved by TMZ – sort of. Sam (Sam Trammell) uncovers his brother’s deception.Jessica (Deborah Ann Wolf) realizes the sad truth about her relationship with Hoyt (Jim Parrack), who has no idea his best friend Jason (Ryan Kwanten) is also lusting for the red-headed vampire.
Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) begins to learn just how powerful he is. Could he be key to fighting Marnie? Trouble is, she makes a great case for wanting to rid the world of vampires, one even Bill acknowledges.
At hour’s end, one familiar vamp cannot resist the siren call to daylight …
Mildly interested in Bill’s plan. I would actually like to see him worry about his Queenly duties instead of who is making time with Sookie.
THRILLED to hear we get more Eric/Sookie action. Wahoo!!!!! A preview of Debbie and Alcide is making the rounds and in it he is sitting away from the new pack worrying about Sookie.
I would not be surprised if he goes looking for her and finds her and Eric during a romantic moment. It is about time that the man come to grips with the fact that he has wanted her from the moment he found out she was alive. The way he is handling this is going to send Debbie over the edge and straight for Sookie’s throat.
Eric seems to understand that memory=no more Sookie.
I am torn by my love of them together and my love of Eric the BAMF. I am excited to see the tension between them after he regains his memory but trying to enjoy these moments while they last and not get ahead of myself.
Could care less about Tara, Jason, and Hoyt and honestly I hope it will be the end of Jessica at episode’s end because I just do NOT like her at all this season. What with slamming Sookie and saying she has treated Bill badly (say what????), stepping out on Hoyt, and making goo-goo eyes at Jason who is feeling the effects of the blood more than any real attraction… I am not happy with her character. Happy to hear that Laffy might be the guy who saves the day. Fun!

I agree on everything you said…I’m not looking forward to Eric regaining his memory. I’m acking for Eric and Sookie only thinking about it. The vampire at the end is going to be Jess. But saying this, I don’t think she is going to die. Jason is going to save her. That is the clip of him running towards Bill’s house. ps I love Eric with his memories…I hope Sookie learns how to accept him. Sookie is only loving a part of Eric…she needs to learn to love the whole package. I think deep down she always had feelings for him. She needs to stop to be afraid of them. cross my fingers.
I think Jason is going to save Jessica too. I was wondering though why they didn’t use some sort of cloth to protect themselves from the silver? Then Bill could have bound her properly. We’ve seen before on the show and in the books that the silver still weakens them, it just doesn’t burn them. I guess AB just needed the drama. I’m hoping in this instance with Eric/Sookie to see AB lean away from the books when Eric gets his memory back. Sookie is starting to realize this guy is the guy Eric keeps hidden, living 1,000 years will do that to him. Now she’s looking back going okay he went about it the wrong way sometimes but he was there for me. He was willing to DIE for me and I wasn’t even willing to SMILE at him. Also… can I just say Eric looks REALLY good in his countrified makeover? Flannel does look good on a Viking, who knew?!
