Why so quiet about the last two episodes? Well, I guess it was because I don’t know what to say about the roller coaster that is True Blood season 3.
In episode 9 I fully expected there to be a big break-up between Bill and Sookie. And in the beginning of the episode they did in fact break-up, after she woke up in the hospital after he almost killer her. I was sooooo happy that their relationship was dead and buried and then the rug got ripped out from underneath me as the episode ended with Bill and Sookie professing their love and having primal sex on the floor.
In episode 10 they are cleaning up Sookie’s house with nary a word about their break-up… as if it never happened. She does ask Bill about the file he kept on her but he lies (like the pond scum he is). Sookie asked him if he knew the Queen and he said he was merely a subject of hers when we know full well he was a right hand man.. a procurer of whatever miss Sophie Anne wanted. And oh so ironically he moved to Bon Temps and acquired the person QSA was so interested in. Hmmmm….. He also told Sookie he only kept a file on her to deduce why Eric Northman was so interested in her. Bill Compton is a BIG FAT LIAR!
The preview and spoilers for future episodes have me biting my nails. Pam asks Eric why he doesn’t hand Sookie over to Russell as a bargaining chip, which is alarming. But he does have a moment with Sookie where he tells her that if he dies he will always regret not having kissed her… sweet.

But will he turn around and use her as a pawn? The Eric from the books wouldn’t but Alan Ball seems to enjoy tearing the book character apart and making him the villain.
From the episode 11 description we have this tidbit: “Knowing he’s no physical match for the King, Eric tempts Russell with the “ultimate vampire dream.”
Could that be Sookie and her “powers”? This spoiler photo seems consistent with that.
What the Freakin Heck????? Alan Ball if your life had a face I would punch it.
Anyway, Sookie doesn’t seem to be struggling or surprised. Maybe she and Eric devised this plan together… I hope, I hope??? But the episode 12 description tells us Eric has something to feel guilty about: “Eric grapples with his conscience while plotting his perfect revenge against Russell.” Ugh.
Alan Ball has already said that the season 3 finale will be mostly about Eric, Sookie, Bill and trust and that it will go some place unexpected. The suspense is killing me. I just hope I won’t be throwing darts at my TV because it turns out that Bill is the hero of the day and Eric is the stuff you scrape off the bottom of your shoe.
I suspect if Sookie and Eric have a plan to catch Russell by using Sookie as bait, Eric is still going to feel guilty anyway by putting her in that position even if she’s willing because he cares about her. Or the photo is from a dream sequence, wouldn’t be the first time that’s happened.

I just want some vindication here…I just want another Eric/Sookie moment. There were memorable ones in the early eps of this season, but then tapered off, much to my dismay. Their last interaction was of him telling her she meant nothing, and I dont know about everyone else but I’d love to see a more tender exchange between the two. The promo for Sunday’s ep looks like it just may deliver one…finally. As for the spoiler pic? I agree..Sook looks a little too calm which is really making me keep my fingers crossed at the idea of maybe being in on a plan with eric.In the last few episodes, Eric kept pretty ‘mum’ about sookie, but his facial expressions spoke volumes when Sookie’s name was mentioned or when he tried to talk Russell out of using her…he truly cares for Sookie. I hope he just downright tells her how much she apparently means to him. alan ball’s man-crush on bill is sickening…lol he’s not the hero, eric is. i just want at least a true kiss…not a dream kiss, but a real one. there’s so much passion between the two. even if it leaves me drooling til next june, i’ll be satisfied. lol
I know! Eric fans are getting jerked around! He didn’t even let a day pass with Sookie and Bill on bad terms but leaving Sookie and Eric on bad terms for days is par for the course. Grrr…
Yes Yes Yes……I so hope that things go our way in the end, every episode I’m just holding my breath waiting for those sweet little moments between Eric and Sookie….I hope this is all part of a bigger plan with Eric. I’m tired of feeling jipped. I have to agree with SpecialK “there’s so much passion between the two. even if it leaves me drooling til next june, i’ll be satisfied”
