Who is Sookie’s True Love??
So you prefer Bill Compton to Eric Northman huh? I swear the Team Bill and Team Eric fans can get as polarized as the Team Edward Team Jacob fans (Twilight).
Well, I like Bill Compton (Sookie’s other love interest) too. He has some good qualities but he also has some bad ones that clearly present Eric as the front-runner. Bill is possessive, Eric is confident. Bill treats Sookie like a child who needs to take orders and Eric treats Sookie like a delectable dessert he can’t get enough of. Bill is conflicted about many aspects of his life including his existence as a vampire. Eric embraces his vampire nature and his animalistic instincts and he doesn’t apologize for who he is.
To further my case I remind you that Bill left Sookie in book three for Lorena after weeks of virtually ignoring her… then he rapes Sookie in the trunk of a car after she rescues him from imprisonment.
